Initiative group of Khoni continues the work in direction of advocacy problems. On February  there was held an ordinary meeting. The group members made advocacy plan, drafted the schedule, according which there was identified the eligibilities of each member. In frames of advocacy there were defined the visits to representatives of local self-government, as the problems may be solved through their inclusion and active cooperation with them.

On February 6 in Tskhaltubo gathered Women's Initiative Group. Members of the group got acquainted with the work schedule of the year. They talked about the problems existing in Tskhaltubo. The list includes social issues, the regulation of which is possible from the local budget. It was noted that human security is quite problematic and in this regard, it is important to continue the work.

According to members of the Initiative Group, it is necessary to inform society about the local budget programs. The initiative group in parallel with community informing, will monthly work on advocacy of the issues.

During the ordinary eighth meeting of the advisors, council of Khoni, the participants summarized implemented activities and discussed future plans. It was noted that introduction of new services will be noticeably promote to social inclusion of vulnerable groups.

Representatives of local self-government expressed readiness to continue cooperation with local civil organizations and at the same time to promote to sustainability of services. For this reason the budget of the next year will envisage concrete funds.

The meeting also touched the issue of advocacy. There was discussed the reform, planned by the ministry of IDPs and related issues. The council members supported the idea that consultations with beneficiaries, local government, state structures, local and international organizations are necessary before the reform to maximally direct reform to improvement of IDPs lives.

On February 2, Kutaisi Women Initiative Group gathered. The group members familiarized with the annual action plan, which envisage advocacy of the problem, which are dangerous for women. There was defined communication of the group members with local community and their informing. Also collaboration with local structures, exchange of information.

Initiative group worked on identification of the problem.

In the list there were social problems, schedule of a comfortable work of public transport, women's safety issues.

Participants developed advocacy plan. In the process there will be actively involved members of the group. They will try to solve the problem with the support of local government.
