Most television stations are politicized, and the topic of violence is not a priority for them.
- The mass media resource is not used in the prevention of violence. Journalists need special trainings to present truthful information to the society, - such opinions were expressed by young participants in the workshops in Poti, Khoni, Ganmukhuri (Zugdidi municipality).
They noted that in social networks, in the Internet space there are only negative information and it is necessary to spread positive examples that will reduce aggression in the society.

The complex of the victim. The meeting discussed this topic. In Kutaisi, 9 collective information-consultative meetings with a psychologist and 4 individual consultations were held in the collective centers of IDPs. There were 63 beneficiaries.
At the meetings, issues related to the victim's condition - reasons, psychosomatics - were considered. It was noted that this state leads to self-destruction. Anyone who feels himself a victim of circumstances releases himself from responsibility for his role in the situation. This is camouflage cover of cowardice, servility and inferiority complex.

“With knowledge against violence” is the title of a small project implemented by the Women Support Centre in Tskhaltubo.
Information meetings in administrative units of Tskhaltubo Municipality and with representatives of local self-government on raising the role of self-government in prevention of violence against women and assistance to victims were carried out within the framework of the project. Participants of the meetings got information on the work of Fund “Sukhumi”, and specifically on the activities of the Women Support Centre. They were also given leaflets.
The final training for local government representatives was conducted on the 5th of December in the Assembly Hall of the Mayor’s office of Tskhaltubo. Participants of the training elaborated recommendations and proposals, which were realized in different villages. A short video about the training was prepared and transmitted on air of the TV company “Rioni”.

Kutaisi, Khoni, Senaki, Poti, Tskaltubo, Khurcha (Zugdidi municipality) are the places where legal information and consultation meetings were held. The meetings talked about the problem of domestic violence and violence against women, the legal side of the problem, support and protection issues. In addition, the participants got acquainted with the package of adopted changes related to the Istanbul Convention. At individual meetings, other issues were considered: property rights and duties, divorce.
