Forum-theater performances in Zugdidi were dedicated to the 16-day campaign against gender-based violence against women.
The young actors played five scenes and each scene was followed by an interesting discussion. The audience mentioned that this is a very difficult topic and people can be better informed in this way.
Women noted:
"We obviously saw the mistakes we make in raising our children".
"We were brought up more strictly and we have already changed our attitude towards our children."
The scenes of the Forum Theater aim to raise awareness about the issues of gender-based violence in the IDP community.
The campaign is supported by the European Union and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in frames of the EU4Dialogue project.

Trainings in Youth Empowerment Centers continue. After the first five meetings, trainings were held in of Zugdidi, Chokhatauri, Tsalenjikha, Bagdati and Kobuleti municipalities.
The members of the new groups are motivated young people. From participants of previous training course they know that the course is interesting and will help to develop their leadership skills. Therefore, they participate in trainings and take the initiative to use the acquired knowledge in practice. It is gratifying that representatives of youth departments are involved in the process of creating the groups, because they also welcome the formation of an active youth group in their municipalities.

An active rehearsal process has started in Forum Theater. The group is waiting for changes. Casting was announced, interviews are underway, and we are expecting a new group of young actors. Similar changes often happen in Forum Theater as group members leave after finishing school.
In September, two performances were held in the central parks of Kutaisi, the season of good weather is already ending, and the Forum Theater maximally used this space. Playing outdoors is a great experience for actors.
The discussions during the performances were interesting and open, but the fact is that the audience does not want to be photographed.
