Meetings - in this category there is an information about meetings in frames of Fund “Sukhumi” projects - meetings with beneficiaries, representatives of state structures, local and international non-governmental organizations.

Members of the Gender Consultative Group established by Fund “Sukhumi” met with a representative of the Mayor’s office of Bagdadi Municipality responsible for gender equality issues, Sophiko Natriashvili. She was consulted on local gender policy issues as well as no activities to be carried out by Gender Equality Council of the Municipality. Participants of the meeting discussed plans for future cooperation between the Council and Fund “Sukhumi”.

WSC of Poti actively prepares to implementation of the project “Violence prevention through popularization of healthy life-style”. Different sport activities are planned: checkers, backgammon, volleyball with the participation of girls and boys.
The event is planned on July 10 on Maltakva embankment.
At this stage, meetings are held in different local government services and organizational issues are discussed. The event is actively participated by the office of Mayor of Poti – for the Youth Affairs and Sports, as well as social protection and gender.
posters and leaflets are already printed. T-shirts were prepared with the slogan "Healthy life - against violence!"

On June 18, the fund “Sukhumi” organized round table in the Center of Democratic Engagement of Kutaisi. The meeting was attended by the people with disabilities, representatives of the City Hall and Sakrebulo on social and health care issues, also representatives of social agency. They spoke about budget programs, answered the questions of participants.
As the beneficiaries mentioned, they received interesting nd necessary information.


Women Support Center started to work on a project, funded by the fund “Sukhumi” – “Youth against violence towards the women”. The project was implemented in two villages of the municipality – Nosiri and Dzveli Senaki.
In frames of the project there were held informational meetings with representatives of administration of local government (governor), in educational resource-center, with directors of schools and young people. Meeting participants received information about a project and planned activities.

In frames of monitoring the law against domestic violence, the monitors of the fund “Sukhumi” conducted in-depth interviews with the judges of the Kutaisi City Court, as well as with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kutaisi and Tskaltubo. The information received will be processed and recommendations based on it will be prepared.

As always, mobilizers of the Women Support Centers of the fund “Sukhumi” in May conducted 33 information and mobilization meetings in the municipalities of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Zugdidi.
Together with various topical issues, the participants got acquainted with the reports of the meetings held as part of monitoring of the law "On the suppression of domestic violence, the protection of victims of domestic violence and their assistance." They also discussed infrastructure issues.

On May 19 there was finished competition of business projects within the framework of the project "Youth development on the new stage." Prior to the competition the commission met to review the business projects. Commission members were representatives of the donor organization PIN and Fund "Sukhumi», local government agencies, the director of the Youth House. Scores were given objectively. 3 best business projects were identified. The winners are: Eliso Panchulidze, Nikoloz Memanishvili and Nano Makaridze. Authors of the best projects were awarded by computer equipment purchased under the project.

In frames of 16 day campaign in the villages of Ozurgeti Municipality Dvabzu and Tskhemliskhidi, the members of gender advisory council organized informational meetings with the teachers and pupils. Then the young people conducted action and meetings with the village population, disseminated informational leaflets.
