"Women’s Voice" is a Kutaisi mutual assistance group, one of the most active, goal-oriented, and strongest in our project area.
The latest meeting of the group was a bit unusual. It was an evaluation of the work done and the results of their civic initiatives.
During the evaluation, the women recalled and focused on many things. Among them were a number of important issues:
How did they use the knowledge gained during the trainings?
What was useful in implementing the community initiative?
What changed as a result of the mutual assistance group's work?
Did they motivate others?
How they want to improve their capabilities?
Working on these issues was interesting, engaging, and productive – the group participants once again saw that women's activism can bring many positive changes in the community.
The project is implemented by a coalition of non-governmental organizations: the Association of IDP Women "Consent," the Women's Information Center, and Charity Humanitarian Women Fund “Sukhumi”.
Crafts have a long tradition in Georgia. Women knew how to sew, knit, embroider, and even prepared their own dowries. Even today, many women are interested in handicrafts.
At the request of women, our organization has opened sewing and cutting courses in several municipalities. Many women have improved their skills and even started their own small businesses.
Now it's the turn of Khurcha Women Support Center (Zugdidi Municipality). We've already brought sewing machines and the necessary materials. During two months, the women will learn a lot from the teacher, who has enthusiastically started her work.

An ordinary February meeting was held in Khoni, on Abkhazeti Street.
Members of the mutual assistance group connected their name to the community and called themselves "Community Power".
They implemented a civic initiative based on the needs of the IDP community.
The project is coming to an end, and the group members openly responded to an online questionnaire downloaded to their phones. They reminded each other of the events held and tried not to miss anything:
What topics did the training cover, and how did they improve their skills?
How did they use the knowledge they gained at the training?
What was their contribution to the community initiative?
Will they be able to independently implement initiatives in the future?
Did they increase the motivation of others?
The group members spoke proudly of their contribution: "I'm happy when I see the results of my work..."
The project showed the women members of the mutual assistance group the need for civic engagement, the importance of their own responsibility and activism, and the true power of community...

Women's mutual assistance groups of all ten municipalities started the new year with a renewed motivation. During their first meetings, they mainly discussed municipal services, changes, and innovations.
Group members listen attentively to a psychologist, whose advice and individual consultations are particularly helpful.
Digital literacy is important to them – working with social media, familiarization with the Fund “Sukhumi” website https://sosfsokhumi.ge/ and learning how to find the information they need.
In Khobi, the focus was on youth, and in Tskaltubo - on the importance of digital education. In Senaki, new participants were introduced to the results they had achieved together. The meeting in Chokhatauri was particularly interesting – the group participants are members of the folklore ensemble “Taoba” from Gogolesubani, who brightened up the time spent together with dancing and singing.
Most of the groups have shown growth, which is a sign of effective work and success.

New green surfaces will soon appear on the school playground in the IDP community of Kopitnari. The surfaces were purchased, but were not installed due to bad weather.
Work is underway at the former Tskaltubo statistical department building, and fencing installation will begin soon.
Our activists participate in both processes.
During a meeting of Tskaltubo women's mutual assistance group, the participants spoke about the progress of civic initiatives and provided detailed information.

This year, the Women Support Centers have begun their work actively. Mobilizers and para-specialists work together in various communities to ensure that as many women as possible are informed. The introduction of victim support services contributes to the empowerment of women and the prevention of domestic violence.
Informing the public about victim support services is an important part of meetings at Women Support Centers, which serve as the basis for identifying cases and subsequently responding to them.
The meetings have already yielded results. Specific beneficiaries willing to receive existing services have been identified. Based on case analysis, they will be redirected according to their needs.
The meetings were held at Women Support Centers of Vani, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Terjola, and Tsalenjikha.

At each training course of all Youth Empowerment Centers, young leaders appear. Together with active participants, they share the knowledge gained during the trainings with their peers, disseminating information on conflict management and violence prevention.
Participants of the current training are also actively involved in this process and conduct the initiated events. They are assisted by teachers who believe that such work has a positive impact on teenagers.
