In October, the mobilizers of Senaki, Kutaisi, Khoni, Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi municipality) and Pakhulani (Tsalenjikha municipality) Women Support Centers held mobilization meetings.

The topic of the meetings is the International Day of Rural Women. This day reminds society how valuable is the work of women living in the villages. The state should realize that a woman, who is socially and economically active will bring great benefits both to her family and to the whole society. Meetings with representatives of local governments were held on this topic, so that the needs of women and girls living in villages become priority for them. The advocacy groups started to work on the issues, raised during the meetings.

The project is implemented with the support of the organization Brot
