Bullying - topic of discussion with young people

- The topic of bullying is quite actual. Frequent conflicts among the youth show that it is necessary to discuss the issue.

- There is one fat boy in our school. The classmates did not give him the opportunity to play basketball in the yard. I intervened and explained to the children that this is an incorrect act. Many of them do not know that this is bulling and violence.

These were the positions of young people, who participated in the discussions at the workshops. They also discussed ways out, because they believe that bullying is a serious problem, and it should be discussed seriously.

According the youth, parents and teachers should be involved in prevention, since bullying is often associated with family conflicts.

Workshops were held in Poti, Tskaltubo, Zugdidi.

Conversation about the topic of trafficking

"No one talks about the trafficking with us, although in the conditions of growing migration each of us can become a victim of trafficking. Therefore, this meeting is important in terms of prevention, "- this was the general opinion of the participants at the informational meetings of the Youth Clubs.

Trefficking, as a form of violence, its reasons, statistics, problems of the victim of trafficking, preventive measures - these topics were relevant and interesting for young people. They also watched a thematic film and actively joined the discussion. They talked about social problems, migration, mechanisms of protection, ways of prevention.

The meetings were held with young people in Poti, Tskhunkuri (Tskaltubo municipality) and Ganmukhuri (Zugdidi municipality).

Dvabuzu, Senaki, Ganmukhuri - meetings of the Youth clubs

During the month, 9 information meetings of the Youth Clubs were held. The last three meetings were held in Dvabzu (Ozurgeti municipality), Senaki, Ganmukhuri (Zugdidi municipality).

Topics of the meetings: early marriages, problems and reasons - for the prevention of violence.

There was a meeting, exchange of information, conversation about traditions, about rural life, stereotype thinking, about girls who decide to marry early. A special meeting was held in Dvabzu, where the Fund "Sukhumi" came for the first time.

As a result of discussions and life examples the meetings became active and more interesting.

Boys for the prevention of violence - meetings in Ozurgeti, Senaki, Zugdidi

In schools of Ozurgeti, Senaki, Zugdidi municipalities, regular meetings with boys were held. The aim of the meetings is to familiarize them with ways of violence prevention. Role games were used during the meeting. Actor skills of participants made the meetings interesting. Besides the role games, video clips were shown which were especially interesting for the boys. Using these methods, they have better understood that it is necessary to prevent violence and create a harmonious society. The men have a serious role in it.

Workshops for the youth in Ozurgeti, Zugdidi and Senaki

During the workshops with the youth of Ozurgeti, Zugdidi and Senaki the topic of gender violence was discussed.

The participants believe that gender violence is  a serious problem and connect them with traditions and social stereotypes.

According to the workshop participants, the way out is informing the youth. Similar discussions are the guarantee that young people will have the right positions.
